The Legacy
The Legacy of Mavis Scott
The Mavis Scott Foundation was established to honour the life and values of Mavis Scott — a woman whose dedication to service, community, and the upliftment of those around her left an enduring mark on all who knew her.
She believed that no one should go without the basics of dignity — food, education, and community. She spent decades quietly serving those around her, never asking for recognition, never keeping score.
Through her daughter Trisan and a community of committed volunteers, the Foundation continues her legacy by reaching families across Jamaica with practical help, education, and hope.

Trisan founded the Foundation in honour of her mother, Mavis Scott. She leads all programmes and community outreach efforts.
